PANews reported on November 27 that Messari released the Polkadot Q3 2024 status report, which showed that Parity launched the Agile Coretime system, replacing the original parachain leasing system with a block space sales model, achieving on-demand allocation of network resources.

Mythical Games quickly became one of the top three projects by trading volume in the ecosystem after launching on Polkadot in the third quarter, with its NFL Rivals game generating 11 million transactions, accounting for 15% of the total quarterly transaction volume.

Although Polkadot DAO treasury spending decreased by 53% month-on-month to $28 million, OpenGov activities remained active, with the number of public votes in July 2024 reaching a historic high of 171.

In the third quarter, external calls from Polkadot rollups increased by 69% month-on-month, reaching an average of 763,000 transactions per day, mainly contributed by rollups such as Frequency, Litentry, and Mythos. In addition, the number of active validators increased to 400, and it is expected to reach 500 in the fourth quarter, raising Polkadot's Nakamoto coefficient to 112 in the third quarter.
