The market changes really fast, and many old methods from the past no longer work well. The current market environment requires us not to stick to old practices, but to adjust and change according to the present situation.
During the last wave of DeFi rise, there was a popular saying: "Play with new retail investors, not with old retail investors". Old retail investors often hold onto their thoughts and are unwilling to study and accept new things. However, this time everyone has realized this pattern, and the market has started to speculate on new projects, while old coins are gradually being ignored.
However, in the past few days, a wave of "old coins" has risen again. From the initial DOGE, XRP, and XLM, to later DOT, SAND, LTC, and MANA, these previously neglected old coins have collectively surged, while coins that were once enthusiastically supported like PNUT and ACT have started to decline.
Previously, our common practice was that when BTC rose, we would make a supplementary increase in Ethereum, and then move to altcoins for supplementary increase, but this method has started to fail this time.
The market is constantly evolving, and if we remain in our previous operational mindset, we may not reap much this time. Therefore, I believe it is now more important to make a shift in thinking, boldly hypothesize, discard old concepts, and rethink new market opportunities.
