Binance Labs' first DeSci investment
Binance Labs announced an investment in BIO Protocol, aimed at promoting patient-led scientific research while accelerating the expansion of the BioDAO ecosystem.

A few days later, Binance Labs and BIO co-hosted the DeSci Builders event, attended by CZ and Vitalik.

DeSci 2.0: BIO leads the biotechnology revolution
BIO co-founder Paul Kohlhaas released the latest vision for BIO Protocol. He detailed the upcoming features, including the establishment of the new BioDAO, upgrades to the BIO Launchpad, and the public release of the BIO Token.

Gamified research takes off
pump.science has launched a second round of experiments to study whether Rifampicin ($RIF) and Urolithin A ($URO) can extend the lifespan of fruit flies. This experiment quickly sparked widespread attention in the crypto community, and the market performance of the two tokens has 'taken off' as a result. Notably, RIF's market cap rose rapidly from about $250,000 on November 9 to a peak of $230 million on November 18, and is currently stabilizing at around $135 million.
