The treasures are currently valued at over $2 million, including 1 BTC, which is currently worth nearly $100,000, and is expected to have appreciated by the time the treasure boxes are found.
Jon Collins-Black said: "You don't have to be a genius to solve these clues. There's nothing remarkable about the code. If you have curiosity, imagination, and are willing to try new things, you can find the treasure I've hidden." It is reported that, in addition to Bitcoin, some of the treasures include Jacqueline Onassis's diamond and sapphire brooch, a Greek golden laurel tree from the 4th century BC, a coin designed and minted by Pablo Picasso, and a rare moon rock specimen.
