The recent increase of memes on Binance is due to the high on-chain traffic. Listing new tokens is currently one of the few ways Binance can gain on-chain traffic. So, here’s a suggestion: allow memes not listed on Binance to still drive traffic to Binance:
Enable custody for various meme coins.
This approach solves three problems:
1. Many meme players have had their coins stolen on-chain, and many people trust leading exchanges more;
2. Provides real data support for Binance’s listing, making it clear whether the community is active or if the meme is just for show;
3. As long as there are enough custodial assets, all on-chain traffic belongs to the exchange, and it doesn’t count as an endorsement, and one could even consider automatic applications.
Finally, it would be advantageous to give this feature to BNB Chain in advance, directly leveraging other public chains; everyone will come to play on BNB Chain.
