PANews reported on November 20 that Swiss asset management company 21Shares announced the addition of staking functionality to its Ethereum core exchange-traded product (ETP), renaming it to Ethereum Core Staking ETP, with the trading code ETHC. The product is now listed on SIX Swiss Exchange, Deutsche Börse Xetra, and Euronext Amsterdam.
ETHC supports Ethereum staking with a management fee of only 0.21%, providing an average current Ethereum staking yield of approximately 3.17%. Although European regulators support staking products, the SEC remains cautious about similar products and has rejected Ethereum ETF applications involving staking rewards. Currently, the assets under management have reached $3.3 billion, covering 43 ETPs. Additionally, the US fund management company Bitwise recently launched the world's first Aptos staking ETP (APTB), with a staking yield of approximately 4.7%, further promoting competition and development in the staking market.
