On October 6, a man with the online name "Passing by Your World" added Qianqian (pseudonym), a woman from Lu County, as QQ friends. Qianqian learned from chatting and photos that the other party was "Yang Hao", who was the deputy director of "a certain aerospace group in Chengdu", and a true "successful person".
"Yang Hao" claimed that due to the nature of his work, he could not make or receive phone calls, nor could he use WeChat to chat. To facilitate contact, Yang Hao asked Qianqian to download a "safe" APP chat software to chat about daily life.
Over the course of a few days, the two gradually became familiar with each other. Inadvertently, "Yang Hao" revealed that a colleague of the group was engaged in a virtual currency company as a sideline business, "there are loopholes to make money steadily", and then sent the colleague's "ID card", "work permit", "work photo", etc.
In order to convince Qianqian, "Yang Hao" said that he was also doing it, and provided Qianqian with the website, account number and password, asking Qianqian to help log in and buy virtual currency. After two days of operation, Qianqian found that he was indeed making money. After that, "Yang Hao" taught Qianqian to apply for and register an account independently and operate it by himself.
Qianqian invested cautiously and steadily, and her account showed a profit every day. Moreover, all transactions with currency dealers were offline and close-range cash exchange, which had low risks. Later, Qianqian found that she could withdraw cash at any time without the help of "Yang Hao", so she began to exchange and recharge with currency dealers on her own.
During the period, "Yang Hao" told Qianqian that he could get free coins through his colleagues, and the more he charged, the more he would get. Qianqian looked at the recharge amount of hundreds of thousands and millions and said that his wallet was tight. Then, "Yang Hao" transferred more than 200,000 yuan to Qianqian's bank card in batches and asked Qianqian to recharge it into their accounts.
In life, "Yang Hao" cares about Qianqian in all aspects, and often reminds Qianqian that many people impersonate her to commit fraud and she should be careful. When Qianqian is short of money, "Yang Hao" also helps her buy virtual currency, and even "kindly" introduces her to a "reliable" quick loan platform.
During this period, Qianqian tried to withdraw cash again, but was stopped by "Yang Hao" after finding out. He tried to persuade Qianqian to continue to recharge and withdraw cash by saying that she could not recharge again after withdrawing cash, or that withdrawals needed to be submitted to the China Banking Regulatory Commission for review.
On October 27, Qianqian was preparing to top up her account. When she was preparing to trade with a currency trader with more than 100,000 yuan in cash she had just withdrawn from the bank, she was stopped by the Lu County police. However, Qianqian's withdrawal alerted the other party. The currency trader who was scheduled to meet for the transaction did not show up, and "Yang Hao" also disappeared.
