Odaily Planet Daily News: The decentralized AI project Morpheus has announced the launch of its mainnet. This project aims to reduce the negative impacts of artificial intelligence, such as centralization, censorship, and data monopoly control. Similar decentralized AI projects include Bittensor, dAIOS, and Boltzmann Network. Morpheus recently joined the Decentralized AI Association, an industry organization dedicated to combating the technology giants that have substantial control over AI data. Morpheus is built using the codebase of the Arbitrum on-chain protocol Lumerin, and it launched in July on a public testnet or simulation environment. The project promises to provide personal artificial intelligence, also known as “intelligent agents,” that can empower individuals like personal computers and search engines did decades ago. The team stated that, among other tasks, the agents can also “execute smart contracts, connect to users' Web3 wallets, DApps, and smart contracts.” (CoinDesk)
