Informed sources reveal that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is expected to soon appoint James Braid, a close ally of elected Vice President Vance, as the White House Counsel. Braid previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff in Vance's Senate office and also worked in the Office of Management and Budget during Trump's first term. If formally appointed as the White House's congressional liaison, he will be responsible for promoting Trump's legislative agenda in Congress.
