Tether has minted $1 billion in USDT stablecoins on the Tron network without incurring any transaction fees, according to Arkham Intelligence. The transaction moved funds from a "black hole address" to Tether's multi-signature wallet, then to the company's Treasury, all fee-free. This highlights Tron's appeal due to its low fees, especially beneficial for users in developing countries. Currently, Tron's USDt supply is nearly on par with Ethereum's, with $62.7 billion authorized on Tron versus $62.9 billion on Ethereum. This activity has contributed to Tron's significant revenue and market share in stablecoins.
