According to ChainCatcher, Protos reported that Hamster Kombat’s HMSTR token saw a 3,720% increase in trading volume earlier this month. Despite the loss of 259 million users from its player base, the trading volume still reached nearly $1.5 billion.

HMSTR’s trading volume appeared to suddenly increase on November 9, jumping from $39 million at 00:27 GMT to $496 million at 14:03 GMT. The next day, its trading volume jumped again to $1.49 billion, a 3,720% increase in trading volume, a new all-time high, despite the loss of players.

Protos said Hamster Kombat had 300 million monthly players in July, down 86% from November 4, a loss of 259 million players. It currently has 52 million monthly players.
