Coinbase, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges based in the US, announced that it has listed a new meme coin on its platform.

According to the statement made on Coinbase's official Twitter account, the platform has now started listing the dogwifhat (WIF) token. Coinbase stated that asset transfers for WIF can only be made via the SPL Token on the Solana network, and warned users to be careful about transfers made from different networks.

The statement also stated that WIF trading may be restricted in some regions. After the necessary liquidity conditions were met, buying and selling transactions started at 23:30 GMT last night.

WIF is trading at $4.07 at the time of writing, showing a 36% increase in the last 24 hours. Coinbase had also added the PEPE token to its platform before listing WIF, contributing to the all-time high.
