Former Celsius CEO Alex Mashinsky has faced a setback in court, with his lawyers failing to get two charges of commodity fraud and CEL token price manipulation dismissed. Judge John Koeltl denied their motion, leaving seven charges up for trial in January 2025. Mashinsky claims he was unaware his actions were illegal. 🤔

His colleague, Roni Cohen-Pavone, pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing in December.
