Solana, the Next ATH? As Bitcoin hit a new inflation-adjusted all-time high, surpassing $80,000, analysts at Standard Chartered are seeing even higher expectations for the king of cryptos. They even predict that Solana (SOL) could be the next major crypto to hit a new high.

Bitcoin at $125,000

According to Geoff Kendrick, an analyst at Standard Chartered, Bitcoin could reach $125,000 by the end of 2024, or even before Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025. Kendrick had previously predicted that Bitcoin would reach $80,000 before the US presidential election, and he remains optimistic that this bullish trend will continue.

“$125,000, which I see by the end of the year, is the next level, although I note that after the 2016 election, a lot of Trump-related trades peaked around January 20th. (…) So if BTC can’t hit $125,000 by December 31st, I think it will by January 20th.”

Solana, soon the ATH?

But Bitcoin isn’t the only crypto on Kendrick’s radar. The analyst also predicts that Solana (SOL) could hit a new all-time high before the end of the year. SOL’s previous all-time high is $260, which was reached in November 2021. According to Kendrick, Solana could surpass that level in the coming weeks.

“A new all-time high for SOL (all-time high is $260 in November 2021) before the end of the year seems inevitable. For a new all-time high for ETH (which is $4,866 in November 2021), we will probably have to wait, roughly, until the inauguration. More broadly, we believe that all cryptos will continue to rise, but that of the three [BTC, ETH, and SOL], SOL is likely to perform the best.”
