ChainCatcher news, during the 'DeInsight 2024' annual summit held in Bangkok Devcon, QuarkChain & EthStorage founder Qi Zhou delivered a speech themed 'Building the World Supercomputer for the Future of Web3.'
Qi Zhou introduced the innovative platform 'World Supercomputer (WSC)' which will drive on-chain storage and computing; it will leverage QuarkChain's computing power, EthStorage's scalable storage solutions, and advanced content retrieval systems of Web3 access protocols to provide comprehensive decentralized solutions that parallelly address the aforementioned issues faced by Web3 in advanced ways alongside traditional computing systems.
Qi Zhou stated that the developer network for the World Supercomputer project is ready, now built on the OP stack, which will utilize parallel EVM to achieve scalability and security for Ethereum L2; meanwhile, the EthStorage testnet based on Ethereum Sepolia is online, with costs around 500K Gas.
