"In a surprising move, billionaire Elon Musk announced the acquisition of the iconic Ford automotive brand, marking a historic moment in the automotive industry. This acquisition has surprised investors and industry watchers, described as a revolutionary step in the electric and autonomous vehicle market," according to a report from an online newspaper.

However, on November 8, the automotive news site AutoPower confirmed that there is no evidence to support that. Both Tesla and Ford have not made any official announcements regarding this deal.

According to AutoPower, this rumor seems to have originated from discussions on social media and speculative posts on online forums.

Although unverified, this baseless rumor has caused slight fluctuations in the stock market, temporarily affecting the shares of both Tesla and Ford.

Currently, Tesla and Ford still operate as two separate companies, each with its own strategy and vision.

Tesla, led by billionaire Elon Musk, focuses on a commitment to developing electric vehicles and advanced autonomous driving technology, while Ford is pushing forward with the development of hybrid and electric vehicle models, continuing to build its long-standing brand in the sustainable automotive industry.

Nevertheless, there is a fact related to both of these car manufacturers. Last year, Tesla and Ford signed a strategic partnership in the United States and Canada.

Mr. Musk has provided Tesla's charging network for Ford's electric vehicles, facilitating the expansion of charging infrastructure for these vehicles in North America.

This partnership agreement was officially announced in May 2023 by Elon Musk himself and Jim Farley, the CEO of Ford.

In an interview with CNBC, Mr. Jim Farley stated that the partnership with Tesla is a strategic choice based on the reliability and location of Mr. Musk's company's charging stations.

In addition to the business alliance, the CEOs of these two leading automotive companies also mention each other and interact on social media.

In a conversation with Yahoo Finance earlier this year, Mr. Farley praised Mr. Musk, stating that both individuals are knowledgeable about the market and the collaboration between the two companies has gone smoothly. Conversely, Mr. Musk also shared a post praising Mr. Farley's electric vehicles.
