Binance continues its legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

On November 4, lawyers for Binance and former CEO Changpeng Zhao filed a motion to reject the SEC’s claims that certain tokens it added were securities.

The SEC claims that these tokens are securities, while Binance’s defense argues that these claims are legally invalid.

This lawsuit is part of a legal process that has been ongoing since the SEC filed a lawsuit against Binance in June 2023.
