Today I had the opportunity to attend a cryptocurrency event at my city’s central train station, an occasion that made me think deeply. I am not used to using public transportation, but this time it was a special occasion that made me notice a reality that, unfortunately, is still very present: poverty. I saw how many people live on the streets and I wondered how it is possible that they accept such a harsh living condition without seeking change. It really hurts me to see these situations, especially when I see that institutions seem to remain helpless in the face of this suffering.
Meanwhile, while we are struggling to find opportunities in the world of cryptocurrencies, dreaming of becoming millionaires, these people are struggling to survive. This gap is unacceptable! We are all human beings, without differences in color, ethnicity or religion, yet not all of us enjoy the same rights and opportunities. Sometimes I wonder what I can do, in my own small way, to help them. But I also wonder what that person in need can achieve: how could we really change their life with a simple gesture?
I dream of a world where every man, woman and child can live happily, without the daily thought of survival. I know this is just a dream, but I believe that together we can make a difference, one small step at a time, starting a change that never stops. So, if you see someone in difficulty, who begs for a real need, I invite you to stop and offer even the smallest of gestures. You could really change their day, their life. Thank you.
