The statement indicated that the judicial department would enforce laws against such illegal activities. It is reported that all state attorneys general, except for those from Indiana, Montana, and Texas, signed the statement. The attorneys general from the District of Columbia, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands also signed the statement.
