The developers of #Telegram in a new update introduced faster loading and improved video quality, as well as a number of other features. This was announced by the founder of the messenger #PavelDurov .
Telegram servers now compress videos into several quality options and optimize them for streaming, automatically selecting the most appropriate resolution based on the user's connection speed.
According to Durov, the messenger is taking “the first step toward becoming a video platform.”
The team has also added the ability to place ads in bots and mini-apps. They will be able to get a portion of the revenue from official ads.
Other updates include:
-- increased message limits for bots;
-- adding photos to sent messages;
-- displaying when messages were last modified;
-- internal hashtags in chats;
-- accurate reaction counters.
Recall that in early October, Durov announced the conversion of a limited number of gifts to NFT on the $TON
blockchain. Users will be able to trade them outside Telegram.
