From a novice in the crypto world to earning tens of millions, then falling into debt of eight million, and finally turning around to profit twenty million, the main thing that has supported me along this journey is the contract trading skills I have mastered.
Today, I want to share some insights from my trading experience over the years, hoping to help you.
1. Capital Control: In my contract trading, I always use fixed funds, for example, I put only three hundred USDT in one account. This way, I can only lose that three hundred USDT at most, but if the market trend is good, I could make tens of thousands of USDT. This setup allows me to stabilize risk while seizing great opportunities to earn a profit.
2. Cautious Entry: When I started trading, I always kept the amounts very low, something I learned from stock trading giant Jesse Livermore. He believed that you should be right from the start, and ideally, you should make money right away. Therefore, even if I had three hundred USDT in my account, I would only place single-digit or ten-digit USDT orders at the beginning. This way, I could easily make money from the start and build my confidence.
3. Adding to Positions in Trend: I only use the profits to add to my positions when I am making money and the trend is clear. This way, when the market is performing well, I can earn more; when the market is not doing well, I don’t have to increase my risk.
4. Timely Stop-Loss: I constantly adjust my stop-loss points based on market conditions to ensure that I do not lose my principal. This is a strict rule in my trading, allowing me to stay clear-headed amidst market fluctuations and not be swayed by emotions.
Following these four rules, I have always strictly adhered to trading discipline. However, I still need to tell beginners: contract trading really tests human nature; you must control yourself and only use a small portion of money to play, such as one hundred USDT or three hundred USDT, so that you can achieve 'small bets to win big', rather than 'big bets to win small'. I hope the experiences I share can inspire contract players.
