I heard a viewpoint in Dubai: it's a bull market for KOLs now, because it's a sure profit. To be honest, even someone like me, who trades, receives seven to eight business messages every day, and those involved in investment research will likely receive even more.
Of course, I didn't accept most of them.
So let's talk about the KOL ecosystem.
I have always believed that KOL is not a profession but a derivative of a certain profession. For example, I am a trader. If I do well in the trading field and gain recognition from everyone, then I become a KOL in the trading category; if someone produces good content that meets emotional value, then they are a KOL in the adult content field—this is all possible.
It's not about wanting to be a KOL and then figuring out which area to delve into, similar to the relationship between the trading targets themselves and options. This may differ from the underlying logic of many people. During this trip to Dubai, I met quite a few friends who share the same viewpoint. KOLs who realize this are also aiming for new directions:
For example, Teacher Yan Chi @颜驰Bit , declaring that they won't cut their hair until they lose weight, determined to become the first weight loss blogger in web3. Zhu Yidan @Crypto交易员朱一旦 vows to practice their photo poses to become a good model after looking at pictures, the principal @园 immediately picked up the phone and gathered a group of big shots, starting recruitment for the weight loss class.
Is it a bull market for KOLs? I don't know, but it's obvious that if you don't have a clear technical skill set, it's indeed difficult to sustain in the long run. Well, I am a secondary trader—a foot-picking big guy—a wild fan of the tangled theory and the master of candlestick charts.
