Can the project team swap coins?
Let me first state the answer: proceed with caution.
Such coins should never be held for the long term; you must sell according to the trend. I am not saying that playing with these coins cannot make money, but there is a natural unfairness in playing with these coins.
For example, the previous three artificial intelligence coins were swapped for FET, render was swapped for rndr, and MC was swapped for beamx.
Why swap coins?
My conclusion is that once the project team sells all the coins, they cannot profit from buying coins to operate on the waves either; they do not have much more advantage than retail investors.
But this coin hit the hot spot, the market sentiment was good, and it seemed to be rising, but there was no profit. It was very tempting.
So, they came up with a plan. They swapped all the coins and reserved a portion for themselves.
They know the hype value of these things. So, when the price is pushed up, the project team sells.
The more they sell, the faster the retail investors get cut. Once they see a big drop, and the market is good, they continue to pump and sell. Over time, new investors disappear, and the project team switches to another one to continue playing. Retail investors have no opportunity in this.
There were once two coins, namely Quantum Chain and Antshares. After the Antshares project team sold all the coins, they saw a sharp increase, directly rising 800 times.
Then the project team sees such a good trend and continues to develop a successor to Antshares and continues to sell. This time they did not sell everything.
I still don't understand why retail investors buy these coins. A large part of them is willing to hold long-term, even during a bull market they do not sell, even if it has increased 30 times. They hold on tightly, which is frustrating.
Then return to the starting point and sell again. They can conceal the counterfeit, but why can't they conceal BTC?
Those who operate this way, making money in the crypto world has nothing to do with you, so avoid it!
My coin selection approach, let's discuss together!
I have bought many coins and made dozens of times in profit, and I can share my experience with everyone.
I will first say that the first method is based on personal understanding and is relative to those with experience.
1. Look at the history of the founder of this coin, first exclude domestic individuals, then exclude founders without money, then exclude those who have done harm in the past, and finally exclude those who have previously exploited others.
2. Is this coin just a fantasy, a case of hanging a sheep's head and selling dog meat? Clearly, it is a counterfeit but claims it will definitely surpass ETH, kick BTC, and often says it will be the next BTC or the next Ethereum. There are also cases of concept substitution. A bunch of concepts like anonymity and privacy payments are put out there, but there are no grounded projects, yet they wave the banners of high-end coins that are all excluded.
3. Coins that many people in the group are enthusiastic about discussing, and that generate passive income daily. In the crypto world, you should always do the opposite of what small investors do.
4. Don't buy those that have been continuously declining for three years after purchase, regardless of how low the price is. These are the coins that are in a fluctuating decline; the institutions have long left, and retail investors are just killing themselves without any meaningful competition.
The second method is a probabilistic approach, which I have also tried.
1. This coin is already listed on Binance, or is listed simultaneously on Binance and Coinbase. At least it has passed the Binance investment department's review and has paid the listing fee, so the cost is still significant. Therefore, even if it is an air coin, it is an air coin with some strength. It can be a small investment gamble.
2. This coin is priced at around 0.0000, with a market cap between a few tens of millions to 500 million.
3. The founder is a foreigner.
4. There has not been significant hype or heavy promotion before.
5. Choose a few based on the market capitalization ranking on Binance, don't buy too much, just a few thousand or a few hundred yuan. It's normal for it to turn into tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands during a bull market.
The above methods are all intersections, and must be satisfied simultaneously. If one is not satisfied, it will be excluded.
I have filtered and bought several hundred times coins using this method.
