Buenos Aires, November 1, 2024 - The latest edition of LABITCONF RESTART on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2 filled the Costa Salguero pavilions with attendees. The event that closes the TECweek organized by the city of Buenos Aires, is the leading conference on Bitcoin, crypto and blockchain in LATAM and the oldest in the world.
The opening was marked by the intrigue that began two days earlier on X.com regarding the revelation of Satoshi's identity and the participation of three possible creators of Bitcoin. Finally, Rodolfo Andragnes stated that Satoshi is all of us perpetrating the mystery of the face and real name of the crypto leader. The question remains open for now.
We are very happy with the response from people in this new edition of LABITCONF 2024, the number of participants exceeded expectations with more than 10,000 people who were able to attend a wide variety of talks with world leaders in this industry in full growth. Regarding the content, he added: “There were many talks on the main stage “The Ocean” with full capacity at many moments, such as regulatory topics, AI or more technical ones like Peter Todd’s. The Agora stage in the middle of the room also had excellent attendance throughout, as well as the spaces for debate on where Bitcoin is going. This year we added more stages and all were very well attended, with a variety of interesting topics, distribution was key. I am satisfied that people found what they came looking for: interesting content, despite having 200 talks to choose from. They left very grateful. At times and in certain places it was difficult to walk because of the number of people. We are already thinking about the next edition, it will be very different, we have many ideas.”
