Odaily Planet Daily News: Microsoft plans to spend nearly $10 billion to rent servers from artificial intelligence startup CoreWeave by 2030. The report cited comments made by the company to investors. It is reported that this amount may be larger than previously known, accounting for more than half of the total $17 billion in contracts signed by CoreWeave with customers. CoreWeave expects revenue to increase fourfold to about $8 billion next year. CoreWeave and Microsoft have not commented yet. (The Information) Earlier, CoreWeave had signed a multi-year contract with Bitcoin mining company Core Scientific, which will provide it with up to 16MW of data center infrastructure to host CoreWeave's infrastructure. Recently, Core Scientific also announced the expansion of its hosting contract with artificial intelligence computing company CoreWeave. The extended agreement will add 120 MW of electricity to CoreWeave's high-performance computing (HPC) operations, bringing the total power of six Core Scientific sites to 500 MW.
