Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has once again vowed to end Kamala Harris' war on crypto. The promise was made in a tweet celebrating the 16th anniversary of the Bitcoin White Paper written by Satoshi Nakamoto.
- On October 31, the crypto community celebrated the 16th anniversary of the publication of the Bitcoin White Paper. Titled "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System," the document laid the foundation for a financial revolution that pushed for decentralization.
- Over the past 16 years, the crypto industry has grown rapidly with millions of cryptocurrencies and 759 exchanges, with a market cap of $2.42 trillion. Bitcoin remains dominant with a 58.9% market share.
- Trump also launched his crypto project, World Liberty Financial (WLF), and promised to support the crypto industry if elected. "We will end Kamala's war on crypto, & Bitcoin will be MANUFACTURED IN THE USA! VOTE FOR TRUMP!" he said.
