PANews, October 30 - According to a report from Financial Street citing Reuters, sources reveal that OpenAI is collaborating with Broadcom and TSMC to create its first self-designed chip to support its artificial intelligence systems. In addition to Nvidia chips, the company has also increased its use of AMD chips to meet its infrastructure needs. It has been reported that due to cost and time issues, OpenAI has temporarily abandoned its plans to establish a network of wafer foundries. Instead, it plans to focus on internal chip design work.
