Forbes found that at least 100 billionaires support former President Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris, many of whom support Harris, but unlike the world's richest man Elon Musk, who strongly supports Trump, many choose to sit on the sidelines, such as Warren Buffett and Mark Zuckerberg. Currently, our count records 82 billionaires supporting Harris and 52 supporting Trump. Forbes will update this list through Election Day.

Forbes identified 28 billionaires who donated $1 million to support Harris in August. According to Forbes' analysis of Federal Election Commission data, the following 36 billionaires donated between $50,000 and $999,999 to groups supporting Harris in August. Music stars Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift also supported Harris. Bloomberg also donated $50 million to the same nonprofit supporting Harris, Bloomberg reported.

52 billionaires were identified as Trump supporters, 26 of whom donated at least $1 million to support Trump's election campaign. Elon Musk is also one of Trump's supporters, donating $75 million to his pro-Trump US PAC last quarter, becoming the second-largest donor in Trump's camp. Some billionaires have not yet publicly endorsed any presidential candidate, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Citadel founder Ken Griffin and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. Gates' ex-wife France Gates is one of Harris' deep supporters. According to the New York Times' analysis of Federal Election Commission filings, Bitcoin investor Tim Draper, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and film producer Tyler Perry donated money to the Harris committee in the third quarter. Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift endorsed Harris on October 3 and September 10, respectively. Bloomberg is already the largest individual donor to Harris' team in this election, and his total financial commitment to Democratic causes is reportedly close to $100 million.
