【ZachXBT: OTC trader 'Wang Yicong' has helped the hacker organization Lazarus Group launder tens of millions of dollars】 Golden Finance reports that on-chain detective ZachXBT stated that OTC trader Yicong Wang has helped the Lazarus Group convert tens of millions of stolen cryptocurrencies into cash through bank transfers since 2022. A few months ago, a follower contacted ZachXBT after completing a P2P transaction with OTC trader Wang Yicong (using aliases such as Seawang, Greatdtrader, and BestRhea977), only to find that his trading account had been frozen. He then shared one of Wang Yicong's Tron wallet addresses from a WeChat conversation screenshot. Upon reviewing the blockchain data related to Wang Yicong, a high risk of illegal funds was noted from Irys co-founder Alex Labs. Alex Labs was hacked by the Lazarus Group in May 2024, resulting in a loss of approximately $4.5 million. The 948K Ethereum address blacklisted by Tether in August 2024 is also directly linked to Wang Yicong. It is evident from the on-chain data that he has been actively assisting the Lazarus Group in recent weeks.
