Magic Eden, the leading non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, has expanded its blockchain support by integrating BeraChain and ApeChain. This addition brings the total number of blockchains supported by the platform to nine, including Ethereum, Bitcoin Ordinals, Polygon, Solana, and Arbitrum. The company aims to support ten blockchains by the end of the year, with plans to add layer-1 network Monad upon its testnet launch.

The announcement follows ApeChain's mainnet launch, which recorded over 360,000 transactions and 1,204 deployed contracts, temporarily boosting ApeCoin's price. BeraChain, featuring tokens BEX, BGT, and HONEY, secured $100 million in Series B funding in April. According to Dune Analytics, Solana and Bitcoin lead in transaction volume on Magic Eden, with Ethereum and Polygon trailing.
