Avalanche Foundation, the nonprofit organization behind cryptocurrency and blockchain platform Avalanche, has introduced a new Visa cryptocurrency card. Announced on the X platform on October 21, the Avalanche Card allows users to spend cryptocurrencies.

The new Visa card will support Circle’s USD Coin (USDC) stablecoin, Wrapped AVAX (WAVAX), BENQI Liquid Staked AVAX (sAVAX), and others. The card will be available in physical and virtual form and can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.

The Avalanche Card will be connected to a self-custody wallet and user activity will not be reported to credit bureaus. The card will be available initially to individuals in countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
