[Samsung integrates blockchain to improve the security of artificial intelligence home appliances]

South Korean technology giant Samsung plans to expand the functionality of its blockchain applications and recently announced that it will enhance the security of its artificial intelligence-driven home appliances. In a blog post on October 21, Samsung said that this new project will expand the functionality of its Knox Matrix architecture, which was previously only used in mobile devices and TVs, and further apply it to more home appliances.

The architecture uses private blockchains to establish a "chain of trust" that enables connected devices to monitor each other for security threats and alert users when problems occur. Samsung also plans to improve the security of all devices through its "cross-platform" technology to ensure that security standards are consistent regardless of the operating system. At the same time, user data is encrypted and synchronized through "credential synchronization" technology to further enhance privacy protection. These technologies will be promoted to more devices simultaneously.

Samsung plans to start rolling out these features to major products next year, although it hasn't given a specific timeline yet. In addition, the company is expected to integrate biometric authentication technology, allowing users to log into apps and services through fingerprints, eliminating the need for passwords.
