Ethereum co-creator Vitalik Buterin has proposed solutions to reduce centralization in block production and staking on Ethereum. Currently, two entities have built 88% of the blocks as of October, which worries Buterin about the risk of transaction censorship.
Proposals:
- Limit the amount of Ether a user can stake.
- Implement a two-tier staking model: "risk" and "risk-free."
