Binance Announces Addition of New Tokens on Multiple Platforms
Binance listing announcements are always closely watched by the market, as the addition of a token to the worldâs largest cryptocurrency exchange often serves as a major catalyst for price movements, as reported by The Bit Journal. In its latest update, Binance revealed that it will list Lumia (LUMIA) on its platform, allowing users to trade the token across multiple services. The following features will be offered:
Lumia will be accessible through the Binance Simple Earn Flexible Product starting October 18, 2024.
Starting October 21, 2024, users will be able to purchase Lumia through Auto Invest using supported payment methods.
Once the LUMIA token is listed on Binance Spot, users will be able to purchase the token via the âBuy Cryptoâ page using their VISA, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Binance wallet balances. This feature will be available within one hour of listing on the exchange.
Users can convert LUMIA to BTC, USDT, and other tokens via Binance Convert with no fees within one hour of listing.
The LUMIA/USDT pair will be available on both Cross Margin and Isolated Margin starting October 18, 2024, 12:00 UK time.
Following the listing announcement, the price of LUMIA surged. The token rose from a daily low of $1.37 to a high of $1.937. Despite a slight decline from its peak, LUMIA held steady, trading at $1.76, reflecting a 28% daily gain.
Binance Updates Margin Contracts for 4 Altcoins
In other news, Binance has updated the leverage and margin levels for four U-margin perpetual contracts, including WLDUSDT, APTUSDT, BOMEUSDT, and BNXUSDT. The changes will be implemented on October 18, 2024, 11:30 AM UK time. The exchange confirmed that positions open before the update will not be affected.
