It is divided into 3 sections:
Fundamental. Bitcoin and Ethereum, there is no explosive growth or fall. Everyone writes that they are maturing as a financial instrument. - 30% of the portfolio
Medium risk. Layer-2 on Ethereum, XRP, TON, etc. This does not mean that they cannot unwind (like LUNA, for example), but they are in the +/- top 20 on SMS and in which I see a future. 50% of the portfolio.
High risk: memes, shields, current narratives, possible scam - 20% of the portfolio.
Today we'll talk about Layer-2 Ether, how much and why:
1️⃣ Arbitration ($ARB): $ARB
Narrative: Solution (yet again) for scaling Ethereum, which uses optimistic rollup technologies. Fast and cheap transactions compared to Ethereum. Many dApps, continues to attract new users and developers.
my average is $0.78 - I don’t plan to buy more yet - there is no history on the chart.
2️⃣ Optimism ($OP): $OP
Same thing, smaller cap. Actively developed, with an emphasis on compatibility and ease of integration for developers + collaborating there.
my average is $2.5.
3️⃣ Polygon ($POL): $POL
They went and partnered with everyone from McDonald's to Nike, Disney, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, Meta, Reddit, etc. MATIC (and now POL, by the way) has become something of a beacon for developers. The third largest ecosystem for decentralized applications (dApps). Many of the applications on Ethereum (#ETH) have migrated here. The cap is not small, really.
my average is $0.68
4️⃣ zkSync:
Well, in the summer the zk-rollups topic was actively promoted, high security thanks to mathematical proofs and high transaction processing speed, blah-blah... the hype has died down for now.
my average is $0.11
5️⃣ Starknet ($STRK)
Also, transactions are made outside the main blockchain, while they are pushing for the security and decentralization of the main Ethereum network. They are about to launch staking.
my average is $0.65
It is clear that almost everyone is tied to the Ether narrative, I think I can take back my own with 2xx. I advise you to do the same.
