background

Meme coins have been mentioned constantly in this cycle and are also the strongest rising track. Recently, KOL Murad gave a speech on the meme coin super cycle at the TOKEN2049 conference. He believes that there will be 8 to 14 months of meme craze, and released a list of meme coins that he is optimistic about, and called out orders crazily. Among them, SPX, which he is most optimistic about, had a market value of only about 10 million US dollars when he first bought it. The current market value is about 750 million US dollars, and the floating profit is as high as 8.3 million US dollars, making it the new generation of meme coin god

At the same time, he is also actively "preaching" on Twitter, and the currencies he repeatedly mentioned are SPX, GIGA, PEPE, SIGMA, APU, POPCAT, etc.

But in fact, long before Murad vigorously promoted memes, many meme coin KOLs frequently called for orders. In this article, WOO X Research counted the performance of the coins they called for since October to explore who is the king of meme orders.

Murad @MustStopMurad

Calling style: I like cult-style meme coins, among which SPX is mentioned the most, followed by GIGA and POPCAT. The market value of the meme coins recommended by Murad mostly falls between 300M and 1.5B, and he rarely calls small-cap dog stocks. Basically, the current price needs less increase to reach the historical high, which means that the rebound of meme coins is smaller.

Ansem @blknoiz06

Introduction: The most famous KOL on Solana. His famous deeds include posting a message to call for orders when SOL was $1.5, and then calling for orders for BONK and WIF, which achieved 80 times and 500 times increases respectively.

Calling style:

Ansem not only calls out memes, but also "formal" projects such as ENA, FTM, PRIME, CROWN, HNT, XNET, and CHEX. He is optimistic about the FTM chain recently, believing that it will be like SOL in the past. He also vigorously promotes FTM's meme coins GOGLZ and EQUAL. After his call, the coin price performed well, with a large upward space and a small retracement.

The meme coins that are called out are also of medium to high market value, with WIF being the most mentioned, followed by MEW. However, his Twitter page is quite messy, with retweets accounting for as high as 80%, with dozens of tweets a day. In addition, he has retweeted Murad's tweets many times, quite agreeing with his meme philosophy, and said that he is also a member of Murad Team.

POW @traderpow

Introduction: On-chain Degen player, with more than 80,000 followers on his Telegram channel, mainly sending timely 1.5-level meme coin calls. Due to the high frequency of Telegram messages and the fact that most of them are small-cap coins, the following statistics are Twitter mentions, not counting Telegram calls. Among them, CB, LABUBU, and 🧲 are projects that issued coins after October, and the increase is calculated based on the closing price on the first day.

Order calling style: prefer calling small-cap meme coins. The CB, LABUBU, and 🧲 mentioned above have all retreated more than 50% from their highs. Except for MOG, MEW, and SPX, the remaining coins are all more than 40% away from their historical highs. It seems that POW is better at short-term PVP meme calls in a timely manner, but its performance is not good from a long-term perspective.

POΞ@Poe_Ether

Introduction: Degen, with nearly 200,000 Twitter followers and more than 40,000 followers on his Telegram channel. The average Twitter readership is about 15,000.

Order style: There are many orders, mostly for small and medium-sized market value currencies, and the orders are also relatively immediate. The public chains involved are not only ETH and SOL, but also BASE and SUI, and GIGA has the most orders. Among them, SPX, GIGA, BITCOIN, GOAT, HODL, LOCKIN, and KEYCAT have smaller retracements, and the current events and DOGE dog name concept are the worst.

Summarize

The currency mentioned by all four KOLs is SPX, followed by GIGA, BITCOIN, and MOG, which were mentioned by three people. The common feature is that they all have "cult attributes".

It is worth mentioning LOCKIN, which also made the amateur @ctlarp famous. He firmly held the coin for 136 days before the deadline, and the value exceeded US$700,000. His Twitter page is also full of content related to the coin, which is very consistent with the "cult atmosphere".

Back to the four KOLs in this article, they are all well-known meme players, but they are good at different styles of "dog beating".

Judging from the statistical results, Murad is the most stable, POW and POE are good at PVP, and Ansem goes to FTM to open up a new battlefield.

Is the meme supercycle just beginning? Let time tell.
