Trump's Defi Project Sold 344 Million Tokens in First Hour Despite Site Down Interesting
The Trump-backed public cryptocurrency World Liberty Financial Defi project went live at around 12:40 UTC. In the first hour, the site experienced several crashes, however, 2,900 investors bought the cryptocurrency with 344 million WLFI tokens sold.
According to Etherscan data, a total of 3,000 unique wallets purchased the token within the first hour. However, the amount represents only 1.7% of the 20 billion tokens in the public sale.
