Ripple is close to launching its stablecoin, which is backed by the US dollar at a 1:1 ratio. The official launch is expected before the end of 2024.
Some of the major partners that will partner with Ripple to distribute RLUSD have been revealed, including platforms like Uphold, Bitstamp, Bitso, MoonPay, Independent Reserve, CoinMENA, and Bullish1.
RLUSD will act as a bridge between fiat and cryptocurrencies, facilitating cross-border payments and real-world asset (RWA) trading on the Ethereum and XRP Ledger13 chains.
