A little advice for novices who are losing money: stay calm, don't panic

Loss is a process that every trader will go through, especially novices. Seeing the numbers in the account getting smaller, it is easy to lose your mind and think about "making up for the loss in one go", but the more impatient you are, the more likely you are to make mistakes. So, calm down and look at the following points:

1. Don't think about making up for the loss immediately

Many people think about making it back immediately after losing money, but the more anxious they are, the more they lose. The market will not change because of your anxiety. You need to give yourself time and space to analyze calmly and avoid impulsive operations.

2. Don't be afraid of small losses, but be afraid of holding on to them

Losses are normal in trading. The important thing is to learn to stop losses in time. Don't resist the losing orders and imagine that it will recover by itself. Stop losses when you should, and don't be lucky. Holding on to orders will only make you sink deeper.

3. Don't blindly increase your positions

Many novices think about increasing their positions to dilute their costs when they see losses, imagining that they can make more money when the market rebounds. However, the market may not necessarily go according to your ideas, and blindly increasing your positions will only expose you to greater risks.

4. Review and summarize, learn to reflect

Every loss is an opportunity to learn. Look back and see what you did wrong, was it because of emotional loss or wrong strategy? Review and summarize after the loss, so that you can avoid making the same mistake next time.

5. Control positions and trade rationally

Never put a heavy position on a single order, especially in the case of high uncertainty. Position control is the first step in risk management, and only a stable position can allow you to survive the storms of the market.
