Welcome to join the ORIGYN 5 Year Club (5YC), a special community initiative launched by the ORIGYN Foundation to achieve protocol decentralization. We understand the power of the community and recognize that your contribution to decision-making is critical to ensuring the longevity of the protocol, which is why we created a club that anyone can easily join.
When we conceived of building the best RWA certification protocol ever, we knew from the beginning that it could not be centralized. We needed a solution that everyone could use without conflicts of interest. Establishing a foundation as a management entity was crucial, but not enough. In order to achieve true decentralization, we adopted the concept of a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
Our goal is to foster an active community that understands its value. By staking OGY in the governance tool (NNS dApp), you will become a member of the ORIGYN DAO and contribute to the governance of the ORIGYN protocol. Your role as a member is critical to maintaining true decentralization.
To incentivize participation, we are introducing a rewards system through our new Token Economics 3.0, which will create a balanced ecosystem where your voting activity is directly linked to rewards.

How to join 5YC
Here are three rules you need to follow:
Stake at least 888 OGY: Your initial stake must meet or exceed this threshold, making it within reach for everyone;
Five-year pledge: Commitment of OGY for the entire five-year period;
Create an OGY Neuron in 2024: We want to thank the community when the new governance system launches, and you have until the end of the year to create a neuron that complies with all previous rules.
