Wu said that according to News.bitcoin, the South African cryptocurrency exchange Luno announced that it has reached a strategic partnership with the payment platform Zapper to provide cryptocurrency payment services to more than 31,000 merchants across the country, some of which include gas stations and pharmacies. The cooperation aims to expand the use of cryptocurrency from investment to daily transactions. Luno users can now conduct transactions online or in physical stores by scanning the Zapper QR code, with a single transaction of up to US$5,740.
