📱 UN “exposed” Telegram in the latest report:

The UN considers Telegram a “den” of criminal online gangs in Southeast Asia, seriously threatening regional cybersecurity:

- Sensitive data such as credit cards, passwords and browsing history are openly sold on Telegram.

- Tools such as deepfakes, malware that steal information, and money laundering services through “underground” Crypto exchanges are rampant.

- Most recently, a hacker used a Telegram chatbot to leak data from Star Health – one of India’s leading insurance companies.

This is the latest accusation against Telegram since CEO Pavel Durov got into trouble with the French authorities.
