Elon Musk recently joined Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he emphasized the importance of the upcoming presidential election. Musk called Trump the only candidate who can “protect democracy in America” and warned that “this will be the last election” if Trump doesn’t win ¹. The appearance marked Musk’s first time attending a Trump rally, highlighting the growing alliance between the two.
Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, also wore a “Make America Great Again” hat and called himself “Dark MAGA.” His message was clear: Trump is a champion of free speech, and Democrats want to limit freedom. Musk also criticized California’s efforts to ban voter ID requirements.
The rally was held at the same location where Trump survived an assassination attempt in July. Trump's running mate JD Vance and several other prominent Republicans joined Musk and Trump at the event.
Musk’s support for Trump goes beyond this rally. He has created a super PAC supporting the Republican candidate, spending heavily on get-out-the-vote efforts. Trump has even said he would pick Musk to lead a government efficiency commission if he is re-elected.
