Bitcoin settled at $62,000 over the weekend, which was expected. 😌 Most altcoins have also shown stability since Friday, but it has been a painful week, with several double-digit losses.

Last week, Bitcoin fell from $66,000 to $63,000 and then below $60,000 due to tensions in the Middle East. However, bulls were able to defend this level and pushed the price up to $62,000. Bitcoin has lost more than 5% for the week, but its market dominance has increased to 54.3%.

XRP and DOGE were among the biggest losers. XRP fell 15% on news of the SEC filing an appeal against the 2023 court ruling. DOGE, ADA, SHIB, DOT, and NEAR also posted significant losses.

The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies lost more than $150 billion but has recovered to $2.250 trillion.
