Oldest Bitcoin Whale Moves Over $72 Million: Details
A Bitcoin whale from 2009 sent $3.58 million worth of Bitcoin to Kraken, according to a report from Arkham Intelligence.
The whale has a wallet containing over $72.5 million worth of Bitcoin (2,049.95 BTC), which was mined a month after Bitcoin was launched in March 2009.
There was a previous move on September 24 when this whale moved 5 BTC to Kraken.
Bitcoin Rebound:
Bitcoin rose 3% on Friday, surpassing $62,000 after the U.S. jobs report beat expectations.
The U.S. economy added 254,000 jobs in September, supporting economic optimism and helping Bitcoinâs price rally.
The coin had previously fallen 6% during the week, to around $60,000, but gradually recovered after the publication of the positive jobs report.
