According to ChainCatcher, Sui officially issued a warning on X: Please be careful of fraudulent NFTs airdropped into your wallet. More and more scammers are airdropping fake NFTs into users' wallets. These NFTs often mimic legitimate projects and direct users to a phishing website, trying to trick users into connecting their wallets and inducing users to approve transactions under the guise of receiving rewards. Please stay vigilant and beware of being deceived. Preventive measures are as follows:
Ignoring accidental airdrops, legitimate projects rarely airdrop tokens without prior communication;
DYOR and verify project websites. Before interacting with any NFT, carefully check the project’s official website, social media profiles, and wallet addresses to determine if it is authentic.
Check the URL carefully; scammers often change the URL by making minor changes (for example, small spelling differences or changing the domain ending, such as ".com" vs. ".net").
