PANews reported on September 30 that according to The Block, Australian bank ANZ announced that it had joined the "Guardian Project" led by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), which aims to explore the wider application of tokenized physical assets in financial markets. ANZ will work with Chainlink Labs and ADDX to experiment with interoperability between private blockchains to exchange tokenized physical assets such as commercial paper. The project was launched in 2022 and has been participated by many financial institutions including Deutsche Bank and Citi, focusing on exploring the application of asset tokenization in fixed income, wealth management and foreign exchange.
