Binance has announced its support for the transition of Orion (ORN) to Lumia (LUMIA) through a network upgrade. As part of this transition, the exchange will remove the ORN/BTC and ORN/USDT trading pairs on October 15, 2024, at 06:00 UTC, and all pending ORN spot trading orders will be canceled. Trading will resume with the LUMIA/USDT trading pair on October 18, 2024, at 12:00 UTC.
Deposit and Withdrawal Procedures
Deposit and withdrawal services for ORN will be suspended on October 15, 2024, at 06:30 UTC. Users are advised to complete any ORN deposits and withdrawals before this date. LUMIA coin deposits will begin on October 18, 2024, at 11:00 UTC, after which ORN withdrawals will no longer be supported.
Binance will cover all technical requirements related to the transition and rebranding, and an announcement will be made to notify users when the LUMIA coin withdrawals have started. The total coin supply will increase from 92,631,255 ORN to 238,888,888 LUMIA.
Available Trading Pairs, Margin, and Other Services
ORN will be traded as LUMIA on Binance, with all ORN coins converted to LUMIA coins at a 1:1 ratio. All spot trading pairs related to ORN will be removed on October 15, 2024, at 06:00 UTC, ceasing trade for ORN/BTC and ORN/USDT. Users are encouraged to update or cancel their Trading Bot services before this date.
Additionally, Binance Margin services for ORN will be terminated on October 9, 2024, at 09:00 UTC. Users are advised to close their positions in margin wallets or transfer their assets to spot wallets. Binance has explicitly stated that it will not be responsible for any losses that may occur during this process.
This transition and rebranding will also impact other Binance services such as Simple Earn, Binance Loans, and Auto-Invest. Starting from October 18, 2024, the LUMIA coin will again be usable within these services.
