Well as far as I see it XRP is the only coin that has the potential of having a real world application on a large scale and is actually getting close to implementation.

okay but how does the US think it could buy 25 million BTC when there will never be more than 21 million minted, many of which are already lost in forgotten wallets?

Well it seems that this shakeout is being prolonged and the powers that be are determined to squeeze every last small investor out of the crypto market. I know they will get more market share at lower prices, but when there is no one left to buy then they would probably hamper the growth of the market and risk a prolonged bear market. I think it would be smart to give retail investors a break to keep the market healthy and encourage sustained growth.
