A Los Angeles man, Adam Iza, aka "The Godfather," is accused of impersonating an FBI agent to steal crypto at gunpoint 🔫💻.
In a 2018 robbery, Iza allegedly held a victim and his girlfriend hostage, demanding passwords to a laptop full of cryptocurrency.
With the stolen funds, Iza is said to have splurged on luxury cars 🚗, a Bel Air mansion 🏠, and even cosmetic surgery to extend the length of his legs 🦵. He was recently arrested and now faces charges of conspiracy and tax evasion ⚖️.
Iza, who ran the crypto platform Zort, is scheduled to appear in court on October 8.
